Gen2Media Corporation (OTCBB:GTWO), an innovative video technology company offering an Online Video Platform, video production and online video advertising, announced completing the successful launch of the publisher version of its Online Video Platform for the Company’s network radio partnerships.
The newest version of the Gen2 online video software allows a large network partner to manage many publisher sites through one interface, including content management and advertising scheduling through one central location.
Gen2 has teamed with Emmis Communications (EMMS) to launch the publisher software for radio, and the parties have successfully rolled out the new platform for the Emmis flagship stations Hot 97, WKIS and WRXP in New York, WLUP “The Loop” and Q101 in Chicago.
“Launching our publisher level software for radio marks a groundbreaking achievement for Gen2”, said Gen2Media CEO Mark Argenti. “We believe that our Online Video Platform continues to set the standard for how video is published and managed, and this new publisher version is the very best of breed for managing content and advertising on a large scale and multi-site basis.”
Micheal Morgan, COO/CTO of Gen2 added, “We are very pleased with the performance of the player across the Emmis properties, along with enhanced user experience and ability to schedule syndicated ad campaigns. Managing advertising across multiple sites; third-party integrations and tracking can be a challenge. Our platform greatly simplifies the process by consolidating scheduling and tracking into one easy process.”
Ben Finley, VP, Branded Entertainment & Content, Emmis New York stated, “We are really excited to have launched the Gen2 publisher software for our sites. The new software gives us a much broader range of capabilities for managing large amounts of content over multiple sites, and also enhances our ad serving capabilities, which is critically important to the success of our online video network”.
Gen2 will now begin the process of migrating its over 100 radio partner sites to the new platform, which Mr. Morgan anticipates will be concluded in the coming months.
